Hello and welcome to the DisneyYAC blog, whoever you are!
Perhaps you are looking around online for information on the job before applying, or maybe you've just been hired and are trying to find out more about what you're going to do! Or, perhaps you're a current or former Youth Activities Counselor reminiscing and reliving the job - or even a family member trying to find out what your loved one does at work. Or you're one of our managers trying to find out who has a blog so you can fire us for being honest.

My First Question!

My first Question!


pendletongal8 asked: "What's the best thing you do at work? What's the worst thing you do?"

Best thing: Asking the little ones profound questions about life and hearing their young wisdom. And obviously writing down all the REALLY precious gems!

Worst thing: Cleaning the poop of a child off of a  6 foot radius. Seriously it was everywhere.  The carpet, the slide, her clothes, her hair. It's one thing if it were my kid, but this was beyond gross. Like all of a sudden her butt was like, "I want to pretend to be a lawn sprinkler for a sec".
